VISA Rewards

An independent 2-day project

VISA Rewards is a rewards portal app for travelling. It was created in 2 days for the 10% project at Ascenda. By using VISA Rewards, users could easily know what services/privileges they could enjoy with the VISA credit card during their trips.

Question

The rewards portal in the market is usually designed with a list of rewards options. It functions more like a convenient tool for the users, but not providing a “Rewarding” experience. How could we make it more user-centred and inspiring?

Solution

A personalised “Tripadvisor” for rewards

As a user, I can search for destinations and see the potential options that can benefit my next journey.

Based on the user payment behaviour (from VISA data) and input destination, the app provides personalised redemption options and offers (from Visa Offers + Perks API).
As a user, I can browse offers by the in-store offer’s geo-location, by category (Dining/shopping/lifestyle) and save offers that I am interested in.
